 Original Jibs on Hobie 14 Turbo are fixed in place on the forestay, which makes it easy to weaken under the Sun and wind.

 

 Our new Forward sailing jib has a opening Zip on the luff that allow to rig and unrig easily on a HB 14 standard or HB 14 Turbo. When you change the jib on the Turbo, you have to to cut the old one to get back the forestay and keep it on the boat. It is very easy to install the new jib on the forestay, thanks to a zip all along the luff.  To install the jib halyard, you just need to put a rope in the forestay top shackle, and to tighten the jib you have a clam cleat on the bottom end corner of the jib.
